I've been working on a new game the past couple of weeks (well... three actually, but I'm only going to discuss one). It's a pretty simple but sweet endurance based tower defense game with some nifty visuals (see below somewhere). The game places you in the boots of a German soldier during the allied invasion on D-Day in 1944. You're going to try to fight of the invasion for as long as possible. Because the Germans didn't win neither can you, that's where the endurance part comes in! You can't actually win the game, the only thing you can do is postpone your own demise. There will be plenty of enemy units and 'powerups' to keep things interesting and make you want to last as long as possible though :)
I do hope the fact you're playing as a nazi soldier isn't going to cause any problems. I don't sympathize the Nazi's (or war for that matter) in the game. Neither does the fact that you play as a Nazi soldier have anything to do with my own beliefs (I think the Nazi's were a bunch of twatflaps). I merely thought it would be interesting to base a towerdefense game around D-Day.
Below are three screenshots from the game. And yes, the game is retardly (sp?) short in size, I had to crop the images a little but these are the proportions for the game (the size is 700x175). Consequently this means I won't be able to implement any ads in the game I think :(, but at least it looks pretty cool
More updates to follow most likely.
